Jefferson County, West Virginia is the easternmost county in the state of West Virginia, with a population of approximately 57,000 people. It is currently the second fastest growing county in the state, and is called home by many who have been here for generations, as well as the many families that are leaving the congested areas of Baltimore and Washington DC to find a slightly slower pace of life in the Shenandoah Valley.
